Working. Revising. Doing what I do.
Work is going well. Strange to think that this is the last time where I’ll be expected to make major changes to my novel. There’s an awesome power in it, and also a level of anxiety. Every time I changed something before, I was always like, “Oh yeah, I’ll clean this up in line edits.”
Welp, now it’s time to do the cleaning.
Before the book went on submission, I went through it page by page, making sure every sentence and paragraph was efficient. But, at this point, roughly a third of the book has changed. That’s something like 20 or 30 thousand first-draft words that’re lurking in this manuscript. And in addition to handling all my line-edits, I feel like it behooves me to do something about that stuff too.
